Statement of Philosophy and Objectives

The staff at CACC believes the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, inerrant in its original manuscripts.  We accept the traditional principles of Christianity outlined in the Bible as the standard for daily living.  As Christ is the cornerstone of the church, we believe that He is also the cornerstone of the educational process.

For the spiritual and moral growth of students, the staff at CACC seeks:

  • To teach the essential doctrines of the Christian faith

  • To lead the pupils into a personal relationship with Christ as Lord and Savior

  • To develop a desire to know and to do the will of God

  • To develop a Biblical sense of right and wrong

  • To foster self-discipline in the student based on respect for the reverence toward God and authority

  • To help pupils develop a consistent Christian philosophy of life by integrating all subjects with the Bible

Academically the staff at CACC endeavors:

  • To promote high academic standards

  • To help each pupil gain a comprehensive command of the fundamental processes used in communicating with others (i.e, speaking, listening, writing and reading

  • To show the order of the universe by teaching students the constants found in mathematics

  • To teach students how to use the scientific method in research as a means of problem solving

  • To foster an appreciation of our Christian and American heritage of human dignity which leads to good citizenship

  • To impart knowledge of the world and current events relative to God's plan for men

We adopt the Biblical position that the education of the children is primarily the responsibility of the parents.  Given the complexity of modern society, however, we recognize that the diverse gifts of our teachers and programs at CACC may promote a more comprehensive and balanced educational experience than may be achieved exclusively at home.  CACC is, therefore, considered to be an extension of the Christian home and a place for enhancing the spiritual, academic, social and physical development of its students in the classroom and extracurricular activities.
