Dress Code

The CACC dress code is very basic, easily followed and designed to discourage competition and/or preoccupation with clothing styles.  It is not designed as a test of spirituality or legalism.

When a student violates the dress code a verbal warning is first issued.  If the problem persists, a written warning is sent to the parents.  A student may be removed from the class for additional violations and the parents contacted to bring appropriate clothing before the child is allowed to reenter the classroom.

BOYS’ DRESS CODE:

  • Traditional khaki or navy pants or shorts (modest length) are required.  They must be worn around the waist and not on the hips.

  • Solid color polo shirts or turtlenecks are required and with the exception of playtime must be tucked into the pants. The shirts may have no emblems or writing on the sleeves or back of the shirt.

  • Sweaters without words or pictures may be worn as an outer garment during the school day.

  • Outer garments that are worn into CACC must be removed once inside the classroom unless they are solid color with no pictures or words.
