Inclement Weather Policy

 

Under the State of Tennessee School Snow Bill Policy, CACC has 13 days of school each year that will not have to be made up in the event school must be cancelled for inclement weather.  If school is closed, attempts will be made to contact the following media stations to report school closings:

 

• WLAF AM Radio/1450 and local TV affiliate Channel 12

• www.1450wlaf.com

• WBIR TV

• WATE

• WVLT

• Facebook page

   

Students will not be penalized for missing school due to road conditions.  Occasionally, there will be school when some roads in the area are still bad.  It then becomes the parents’ decision on sending their children to school.  That decision will be honored.
